"The well-known Moscow pianist" attributed to by the music connoisseur L.Ginsburg,"has acquired quite a fundamental professional training". He started his music education in the same school as Mstislav Rostropovitch under the guidance of Eugenia Tir, the former student of Joseph Hoffman, then he mastered his technique as a student of professor Avrelian Rubbach, who in his turn was taught by Felix Blumenfeld, the teacher of the famous Vladimir Gorovitz.
By the age of 12-14 Alexander regularly performed in all concert halls of Moscow, his performances being recorded for radio transmission in Russia, Austria and Germany.
